Instructions
  1. Peek-a-boo is a classic game to play with children of all ages, even for newborns. Slowly hide your face behind your hands, a blanket, or an object, and then pop your face out and say, “Peek…a...boo!”

  2. Watch as your newborn will start to anticipate your face coming out. Your newborn will not know that you are hiding, but he’ll surely be happy to see you when you pop out. A smile or two might start appearing when you say “Boo!”

  3. This is a great activity to repeat several times because it’s quick and easy to do.

This activity helps your newborn develop facial motor skills, listening skills, language skills, and social-emotional skills.
