Breastfeeding may be a natural thing, but that doesn’t mean it comes naturally. To learn the basics of breastfeeding, and about women’s health in general, we’ve listed a few organizations that are here to help.

Office of Women’s Health
How can they help?
Office of Women’s Health (OWH) provides up-to-date information on women’s health, including a breastfeeding helpline.
OWH provides information and support for new moms to learn how to breastfeed through either their helpline or connecting you with local organizations that can further help. For more information about this service, visit their page here.
Postpartum Support International
How can they help?
Postpartum Support International (PSI) is an organization dedicated to educating people about the emotional changes that women can experience during pregnancy and postpartum. PSI offers a helpline, online support groups, free phone “chat with the experts” for both moms and dads, and much more.
Nurse-Family Partnership (only available in English)
How can they help?
Nurse-Family Partnership is a community health program providing services and support to first-time moms (dads too!) like a free nurse locator, insurance and prescription assistance, breastfeeding assistance, and much more.
Le Leche League (only available in English)
How can they help?
Le Leche League is an organization providing support and information to mothers on breastfeeding.
