Family Resource Centers are local community centers that support parents and families. Their supports and services vary by area, so check out what your local center can provide you.
Early Start Family Resource Centers are part of the California Department of Developmental Services’ Early Start Program. The Family Resource Centers offer support by helping parents, families, and children locate and use services within their communities. Their services can include parent groups, sibling support groups, resource libraries, classes, and play groups. They also can provide referral information for family visitation services, food and clothing banks, and more.
